Frequently Asked Questions

1. What should I do after an auto accident?
If anyone is injured, call 911 immediately. If no one is hurt it is important that you get the name, driver license number, vehicle license plate, and insurance information of each of the other parties involved in the accident. If there are any witnesses, you should obtain the name and phone number of each witness. Try to take note of the date, time, and location where the accident occurred. If you have a camera or a cell phone that has a camera, take pictures of the accident scene and the damaged areas of each vehicle involved. Once you have all of that information, contact your insurance company as soon as possible.

If the other party is unwilling to provide any of the listed information to you, or if they do not have a driver license or insurance, notify the police and your insurance company immediately.

2. Can my insurance determine where my vehicle is repaired or can I choose the facility?
Most every insurance company has a list of preferred collision repair facilities that they will try to get you to take your vehicle for repairs to. However, you are not limited to just those repair centers. California State Law states that you have the choice to choose the facility where your car is repaired. You can call any repair center and they will coordinate the repair process with your insurance company. Just notify your insurance that you are bringing your car to us and we will handle everything else.

3. Do I need to make an appointment to get a repair estimate?
There is no appointment necessary to receive an estimate on your vehicle. We understand that when an accident happens you would like to get it taken care of as soon as possible and don’t always have time to call during this stressful situation. However, in order to give you the highest service level possible with the shortest wait time you can call to schedule an appointment with any of our staff members.
